Rick has a lifetime of experience in all areas of real estate in the Atlanta market. He is a second generation real estate broker and a third generation home builder. Early on, as a junior at Wheeler high school in East Cobb, Rick built and sold his first house at the age of 16. While attending Georgia Tech, as a walk-on football player, he got his real estate license at age 19 and then paid for his college by rehabbing and renting foreclosed properties. Upon graduation, he founded his first homebuilding business at age 22. After much success, he went on to earn his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1999 specializing in finance. Having specialized in finance and negotiation, Rick then went on to work in investment banking in venture capital where he specialized in valuation and transaction structuring. Rick returned to his Atlanta roots in 2001, launching his homebuilding business, Destiny Development Corporation, and a land development business, Tuley & Tuley, Inc., with his father. Rick has developed lots and land for three Fortune 500 companies including Bank of America, and two of the nation’s largest publicly-traded home building companies. He has bought, sold and remodeled residential investment properties. He has purchased, leased, and sold large commercial buildings and master planned communities. Rick has deep expertise in site and market analysis, zoning, land acquisition, permitting, infrastructure installation and construction management. In residential real estate, Rick has a passion for helping people find the right home for their lifestyle and financial situation. He also believes that every home can be an investment to solidify your future. His vast transaction experience, knowledge of construction, and negotiating expertise is a winning combination.
